South West competition are entered on line.  In order to use it you will need to do it in two stages, namely, to set up your database on the system from which you will select names when the system is open to make entries for the individual competitions.  Below is the link to the system so that is where you start.  From then on you do the following:

Create an account (this is on the Front page).

Register your members on to the system.  The easiest way to do that is for your club's data controller with BG to download club members as a spreadsheet and save on to your computer.  If you upload the file when asked then all of your existing club members will appear on the database and when you do the entry for your next competition you will not have to type their names in but just select their name and the age group etc that you want them entered in to.  If you have new club members joining throughout the year who want to compete you can add them one at a time on to the database.   Registering the members is a very quick process.

Register your officials on to the system.  This takes a bit longer as you will have to register the following people individually (you should find all of the information on your BG Members list that you have downloaded from BG:

Register your Officials (you will be taken through this on screen) - you will notice that there is, at the moment, an option of "Novice" judge which is for those who did the Workshop/or who are capable of judging/tariffing as they are national/ex-national competitors.  A limited number of these judges will be used on panels until such time as they can get on to judging courses when they start running properly again.  We would ask that these have BG Community membership.

Registering Coaches This is on the same screen as registering officials and you will be able to tick on what BG qualifications they hold.

Registering officials that are not judges but will be doing jobs such as Marshall, Manual Recorder, Computer Recorder, Administration - these people do not have to be BG members so you can continue to use parents etc.

Once you are ready to go - each competition portal will be opened and closed on specific dates.  This system allows NO LATE ENTRIES.  

You must read the Privacy Policy please as to continue it must be ticked and accepted.

Finally, this system is to make it easier for both the clubs and for us who are dealing with the entries (which are quite significant).  Can I suggest that you set up the database ahead of time to avoid last minute problems when working to a “closing date” for entries.
